Sahiba Gafarova meets with Turkish counterpart in Ankara

On December 18, Speaker of the Azerbaijan National Assembly, Sahiba Gafarova, visited the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye in Ankara as part of her official visit and met with her Turkish counterpart, Numan Kurtulmush.

Axar.az reports that the two sides initially held a private meeting, followed by broader discussions.

After the talks, the parliamentary speakers will address the media.

Earlier in the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation paid a visit to the mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder and first President of the Republic of Turkiye.
