Due to the irresponsible behavior of the Armenian elite, France's air defense systems, which are part of Armenia's arsenal, can pose a threat to civilian aircraft.

Axar.az reports that this statement was made by Russian political scientist Igor Korotchenko in an interview with Moskva-Baku.

"Overall, it is clear that the deployment of NATO's air defense units, based on Western technologies and equipped with relevant systematic data transmission tools, poses a threat to the region's security. After the Western air defense umbrella is deployed in Armenia, we could see, at any time, the installation of foreign military bases, such as those from France or possibly the EU, in Yerevan. The material foundation for this is being prepared. The most important condition for Western military presence in the region is the Western air defense 'umbrella' over Armenia. Therefore, all of this will be implemented step by step," he stated.
