Axar.az reports that this was stated by Russian political scientist Igor Korotchenko in an interview with Moskva-Baku, while commenting on the recent meeting between Armenia's Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin.

"Through the Pentagon, the U.S. military mission operates within the Armenian Ministry of Defense. The U.S. Department of Defense’s intelligence department is actively interacting with the corresponding intelligence department of the Armenian Armed Forces' General Staff, exchanging information, and conducting training for Armenian soldiers. In the future, there will be supplies of American weapons. Everything is moving at full speed," he said.

The expert noted that Yerevan is preparing to play the role of a disruptive and Trojan horse for the West in the South Caucasus:

"As a result, Armenia will once again be given NATO’s support. Armenia will either receive weapons through favorable schemes or as part of military assistance, so this process will continue."
