I decided as the Prime Minister of Armenia that the 'Karabakh Movement' should not continue.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

'If the people of Armenia oppose my decision, then I will no longer be the Prime Minister of Armenia. As long as I am the Prime Minister, this is Armenia's official position,' he said.

It should be noted that the 'Karabakh Movement' is generally considered to have started in 1988 when Armenia was still part of the Soviet Union. Based on the ideological foundation of this movement, Armenia declared its independence in 1991.
