The result of the 29th meeting in the “Ramstein” format, attended by 52 countries and organizations, is a 50-day campaign to arm Ukraine. This is likely related to the 50-day grace period Trump gave Russia.
Axar.az reports that expert Ilgar Altay stated this.
He listed the decisions made at the meeting:
- The United States, together with NATO and European countries, proposed a new mechanism for the supply of American weapons to Ukraine. European countries have already joined efforts to procure weapons for Ukraine.
- U.S. President Donald Trump is considering the possibility of transferring “Tomahawk” cruise missiles with a 2,500 km range to Ukraine.
- Germany has joined the initiative to deliver five “Patriot” air defense systems in its possession to Ukraine and is expected to deliver them soon.
- Germany is also sending more than 200,000 (!) shells for “Gepard” anti-aircraft systems and is financing Ukraine’s purchase of long-range drones.
- Canada, under the “Danish model” (which involves investing in Ukraine’s weapons production), will continue supporting Ukraine’s defense industry and allocate $200 million for maintaining Ukrainian tanks.
- The Netherlands is allocating €200 million for drone neutralization and €125 million for F-16 aircraft maintenance.
- Norway has allocated a total of €1 billion for drone procurement.
- Sweden is preparing a new package to supply air defense systems, artillery, and equipment.
The expert emphasized that the whole world seems to have united against Russia:
“Just 2–3 months ago, there were contradictions between the U.S. and Europe regarding support for Ukraine, but today Putin’s actions have effectively forced this unity.”
