The possibility of establishing a joint artificial insemination center between Azerbaijan and Israel was discussed.
Axar.az reports that Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov wrote about this on the "X" social network.
The next day of the visit to Israel, we visited several strategically important enterprises that hold leading positions in the country's agro-industrial sector. During the visit, we visited a farm owned by 3 Kibbutz communities with an annual production capacity of 12 thousand tons of milk, as well as the largest artificial insemination center in Israel (ZION) and a modern milk processing plant that provides a significant part of the country's population with dairy products," the minister said.
According to him, detailed information was provided on the operating model of the mentioned enterprises, production and management mechanisms, innovative technologies applied to ensure high productivity, genetic selection, and digital solutions in animal husbandry:
"Within the framework of the meetings, the parties discussed the sharing of best international practices, the possibility of establishing a joint artificial insemination center in Azerbaijan, as well as the development of technical knowledge and specialist potential in this field. Additionally, a detailed exchange of views was held on state support mechanisms, investment incentives, and the regulatory framework in the dairy processing industry.
I believe that the visit will play an important role in increasing productivity in the agricultural sector, organizing competitive production, and deepening Azerbaijani-Israeli cooperation."
