Sahib Ali oglu Mammadov has been appointed Deputy Chief of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy.

Axar.az reports citing, the statement came from the Ministry of Economy.

He will also act as the head of the Service. Sahib Mammadov studied law and economics, held responsible positions in various international organizations, as well as in the civil service.

He has been appointed Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry since 2014 and Deputy Minister of Economy since 2016. He was awarded the Medal for Distinction in Civil Service and the Progress Medal. He is 41 years old.
