Turkey has sent aid to Azerbaijan

Since the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, Turkey has provided medical supplies to about a hundred countries and sent medicines with protective equipment.

Axar.az reports that, the statement came from the Turkish Embassy in Azerbaijan.

It was noted that 30 fans, 55,000 overalls, 50,000 N95 masks, 100,000 surgical masks, 5,000 medical glasses, 200,000 gloves and 40,000 boxes of various medicines used to treat the virus were sent from Turkey to Azerbaijan today.

"Turkey believes that success in the fight against the virus can only be achieved through the cooperation and solidarity of all countries, and in this time of emergency, we are making every effort to contribute to the global fight against the pandemic.

This assistance we provide today is also a contribution to the struggle of brotherly Azerbaijan. This assistance, which is a natural result of our close relations, is a strong manifestation of our brotherhood, which the Presidents of the two countries, Mr. Ilham Aliyev and Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, have demonstrated at every opportunity.

We wish assistance to Azerbaijan in its fight against the coronavirus, and we take this opportunity to wish good health to our brothers and sisters who died of the virus, and a speedy recovery to the sick," the statement said.
