The fire that occurred in the park of spare fuel tanks at a gas station near the city of Khankendi was extinguished in a short time by the forces of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan sent to the area on September 26, 2023.

Axar.az reports that the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has released information about this.

It was noted that in order to carry out search and rescue and other necessary security measures in the area in connection with the incident, on September 27, 2023, the next 10 special purpose vehicles of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with a staff of 50 people were sent along the Aghdam-Asgaran-Khankendi road and relevant works are already being carried out by them.
