Successful reforms have been carried out to adapt the Azerbaijani Army to the Turkish model, which was noted during the training-methodical meeting with the HR staff of the union, formation, military unit, and special-purpose educational institutions according to the plan for 2024 approved by the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov.

Axar.az informs that Major General Elchin Khalilov, acting head of the General Staff Department, spoke at the meeting attended by staff members, personnel accounting, organization-mobilization, and non-confidential clerical staff.

Successful reforms have been carried out under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, in the Azerbaijan Army to adapt the Army to the Turkish model. It was emphasized that the measures implemented in this direction will be underway in the current year as well, and it is always at the center of attention of the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.
