7 people whose remains were found in Khojaly were buried

A farewell ceremony was held for 7 people whose remains were discovered in the mass grave during the excavation works in the center of Khojaly city (near the former carpet factory).

Axar.az reports that the ceremony took place in a town built for internally displaced persons in Barda district.

Relatives of Khojaly genocide victims, employees of state institutions and public representatives took part in the farewell ceremony.

Later, the funeral ceremony of 7 people was held. Genocide victims were buried in the newly built Shahidler Alley in Khojaly.

Relatives of the deceased, officials of state institutions, public representatives took part in the funeral ceremony.

Those buried are:

1. Aliyev Agaeli Naib oglu - 01.06.1933;

2. Aliyeva Sureyya Behbud gizi - 01.06.1933;

3. Salimov Khazar Sayavush oghlu – 01.09.1974;

4. Salimova Tamilla Aghamirza gizi – 01.06.1935;

5. Javadov Ali Musul oglu - 15.06.1954;

6. Ismayilov Ismayil Bahman oghlu - 01.08.1955;

7. Najafov Shiraslan Gamiş oglu - born in 1952.
