Axar.az informs that the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of Iran to Armenia, Mehdi Subhani, said these words in a conversation with journalists on April 19 about the agreement reached today between Azerbaijan and Armenia regarding the return of 4 non-enclave villages of Gazakh.
"The Armenian authorities have informed Iran that agreements are being reached with Azerbaijan on the basis of the Almaty Declaration, that is, on the basis of borders recognized at the international level," he said.
It should be noted that if the "territories crossed by the international road" fall on the territory of Azerbaijan, whether this should be included in the agreement should "concern" Iran. Because it was Subhani who said a while ago that the opening of roads should be within the framework of territorial integrity of the countries. With what morality does Iran approach the corridor that Azerbaijan wants to its territory - Nakhchivan from the "principle of protecting the sovereignty of Armenia", but it "welcomes" the fact that Armenia's road to another country - Georgia passes through the territory of Azerbaijan and therefore the violation of our sovereignty, and even accepts this issue, which does not belong to it at all, as a consolation?
Azerbaijan receives and will receive what is due to it. If any concession is intended in the international road issue, then official Baku also demands a concession with the same logic - for example, for Zangezur...
