President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev paid a state visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan on July 11.

Axar.az reports that as a sign of special respect for the President of Azerbaijan, the plane of the head of state was met in the airspace of Pakistan by fighter jets of the Air Force of this country and escorted it until it landed.

A guard of honor was arranged in honor of the head of state at the Nur Khan base of the Pakistan Air Force, where the national flags of both countries are flying.

A volley of cannons was fired in honor of the President of Azerbaijan.
