Yerevan approves demarcation document

The Armenian government has approved the Regulation "On the joint activity of the State Border Demarcation and Border Security Commission between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan".

Axar.az reports that a decision on this was made at a meeting of the Armenian government.

The document was sent to the Constitutional Court for consideration.

If the Constitutional Court decides to recognize that the obligations established in the regulation are by the Constitution of Armenia, the government will submit the legislative initiative to the parliament.

The representative of the government in the Constitutional Court will be Deputy Prime Minister Mger Grigoryan.
