As it is known, according to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers dated September 18, 2024, there will be no work in Azerbaijan on some days in November. This is related to COP29 - the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, which will be held in Baku in November.

Axar.az reports that because this decision of the Cabinet of Ministers caused confusion among some citizens, the education expert Elchin Efendi presented in November who will not have work and classes on which days:

Non-working days in November 2024

For those working 5 days: November 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 24 and 30

For those working 6 days: November 3, 8, 9, 10, 17 and 24

Holidays and holidays for students in full secondary and general secondary educational institutions operating throughout the territory of the Republic: 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 November 22, 24.

Holiday and rest days for secondary and higher education institutions: November 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 24.

Note 1: November 8 (Victory Day) and November 9 (National Flag Day) are public holidays. November 12-22 is the autumn vacation for students. They will start classes on November 23.

Note 2: For students studying in Baku, Sumgayit and Absheron regions, classes will be taught remotely from November 14 to 25 (not including non-working days). In other areas, classes will be taught in the traditional manner.

Note 3: Sundays in November: November 3, 10, 17 and 24.

Note 4: In order to ensure the sequence of work and rest days, the places of November 12 and 13, 2024 working days and November 16 and 23 rest days have been changed, respectively. Since November 9 falls on a non-working day, November 11 is also considered a non-working day.

Thus, November 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 are consecutive non-working days.
