Azerbaijan’s "Istiglal" sniper rifle is used by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Jordan.

Axar.az reports, citing Repоrt, it stated by First Lieutenant Beybala Bagirbeyli of the State Border Service during a media tour to the "Gazakh" Separate Border Division.

He noted that the "Istiglal" sniper rifle has been successfully utilized in combat operations:

"The rifle is sold in limited quantities and to select countries. It is used by the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Jordan. The rifle has a caliber of 14.5 mm and a targeting range of 2,000 meters with mechanical and optical sights."
