'The news of the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane today shocked us and filled us with deep sorrow. We pray for the swift recovery of the survivors. On behalf of the people of Israel, we offer our deepest condolences to the families of those who lost their lives. The Israeli Embassy is in contact with the relevant authorities and is ready to provide any necessary assistance. May the souls of the victims rest in peace,' the ambassador wrote in his post.
