Government officials from Azerbaijan arrived in Kazakhstan where a passenger aircraft belonging to Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), operating the Baku-Grozny flight, crashed.

Axar.az reports that those officials are Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev and Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov.

Following the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, they are investigating the crash in Aktau together with local officials.
