29 hospitalized in Aktau plane crash, including 3 children

29 people, including 3 children, were hospitalized as a result of the plane crash in Aktau. 15 of them are citizens of Azerbaijan, 9 of them are citizens of Russia, and 2 are citizens of Kyrgyzstan. The citizenship of three people is being determined.

Axar.az reports with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan that 571 applications were received on the hotline.

Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Kanat Bozumbayev, Minister of Emergency Situations Major General Chingis Arinov, Minister of Transport Marat Karabayev, Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations Kegen Tursynbayev and members of the Government Commission arrived at the scene.

By order of the Tupkaragan district authorities, a state of emergency was imposed on the local scale.

482 people, 97 pieces of equipment, 2 airships, and 10 canine brigades were involved in eliminating the consequences.

Coordination and information exchange is carried out between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Russia, and Azerbaijan through video communication.

It should be noted that 14 of the survivors were Azerbaijani citizens.
