The matches of the Azerbaijan wrestling championship scheduled for December 26 have been postponed due to the day of mourning.

Axar.az reports that the press service of the Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation released information about this.

Due to the accident of the Embraer 190 passenger plane, which was carrying out the Baku-Grozny flight today, and many people lost their lives, tomorrow's meetings have been scheduled for the next day.

Thus, the fight in freestyle wrestling in 57, 65, 74, 86, and 97 kg will take place on December 27. The winners in 61, 70, 79, 92, and 125 kg will be determined on December 28. The matches of the last two days of the competition will be held in the Baku Sports Palace.

It should be noted that the competition will be concluded on December 30.
