If Ukraine does not become a NATO member, it could, after some time, launch an attack on Russia driven by a revanchist mindset.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ukraine's former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmitry Kuleba.

Kuleba noted that if both Russia and Ukraine are dissatisfied with the results of negotiations, it could lead to an increase in revanchist sentiments in both countries:

"In the medium term, Ukraine’s potential revanchist policies towards Russia cannot be underestimated or dismissed."

He added that in the next 10 years, politicians and political forces seeking revenge could emerge in Ukraine.
