The European Union (EU) has imposed sanctions on 18 foreign companies from Azerbaijan, India, China, the United Arab Emirates, Singapore, and Mauritius as part of its new sanctions package against Russia.
Axar.az reports that this information was published in the official journal of the EU.
Among the foreign companies subject to sanctions are China's Bellatrix Energy, Zhu Jiang Shipmanagement, ACE Electronic HK, Wuhan Global Sensor Technology, and Shandong ODES Industry, India's Intershipping Services Hub Private and Nayara Energy, Mauritius' Redbird Corporate Services and Sapang Shipping, Singapore's 2Rivers PTE, Azerbaijan's Aqua Fleet Management, UAE's Intershipping Services, Twister Shipmanagement, Admiral Group, Milavous Group, 2Rivers DMCC, Monolink Group, and Tarabya Logistics.

New details have become known about the Azerbaijani company "Aqua Fleet Management", which was included in the European Union's sanctions list.
It was noted that the company was registered in August 2024 with an authorized capital of 100 manats. A person named Kakhaber Iremadze is listed as its owner.
"Aqua Fleet Management" is located at 5 Sulh Street, apartment 25, Sumgayit city.
The company is mainly engaged in oil transportation. According to information, the company owns two oil tankers named "Saurri" and "Ederra", as well as a dry cargo ship named "Temirro".
Open sources indicate that these ships sail in international waters under the flag of Cameroon.
