The Belarusian club FC BATE Borisov will hold its home matches in the UEFA Europa Conference League in Azerbaijan.

Axar.az reports that the Borisov-based side has chosen the Mehdi Huseynzade City Stadium in Sumgayit as its designated home ground. BATE will host its Conference League opponents at this venue.

The club will begin its campaign from the first qualifying round of the Conference League. The draw for this stage will be held on June 16, while the matches are scheduled for July 9 and July 16.

It should be noted that, due to the war in Ukraine, UEFA has prohibited Belarusian clubs from playing their home matches on home soil.
