Neftchi win Orleans stop of Women’s 3x3 Series

The second day of competition at the Orleans stop of the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series in France has concluded.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijan’s representative, Neftchi, defeated the Spanish national team 20-14 in the quarterfinals and the Amsterdam team from the Netherlands 17-13 in the semifinals to advance to the final.

In the final, Neftchi faced the host nation, France Women's National 3x3 Basketball Team. Following a hard-fought contest, the Azerbaijani side secured a 21-20 victory and was crowned champion of the Orleans stage.
