Messi leads early Golden Boot race at 2026 World Cup

The latest update on the race for the 2026 World Cup Golden Boot has been released.

Axar.az reports that Argentina captain Lionel Messi is currently leading the scoring charts.

The 38-year-old forward has already scored 5 goals in just 2 matches. He is one goal ahead of his closest challengers, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland.
