Jeyhun Sultanov has been appointed President of Araz-Nakhchivan Football Club.

Axar.az reports, citing the club, that the decision was made at a meeting of the club's Board of Directors.

During the meeting, the board discussed preparations for the new season, the restructuring of the academy teams, and the first team's transfer activity.

It should be noted that during his playing career, Sultanov represented Farid, Neftchi, Dinamo Baku, Baku, Khazar Lankaran, Kapaz, Sumgayit, Gabala, and Iran's Machine Sazi. He also played for the Azerbaijan national team.

As a football executive, he has previously worked at Sumgayit, Neftchi, and Keshla.
