Harry Kane sets new single-season goalscoring record

Harry Kane became England's all-time leading World Cup goalscorer after netting his 11th tournament goal in a 2-0 victory over Panama, surpassing Gary Lineker's long-standing record of 10.

Axar.az reports, citing Goal, that the England captain scored with a header from a Jude Bellingham cross to seal the win.

Kane's next target is Brazil legend Pele, who scored 12 World Cup goals. He has already overtaken Cristiano Ronaldo's total of 10 and continues to climb the list of the competition's all-time leading scorers.
