United States forward Folarin Balogun will be available for the FIFA World Cup Round of 16 match against Belgium.

Axar.az reports, citing FIFA, that the striker had received a red card during the USA’s 2-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Round of 32, but his dismissal has since been overturned.

According to FIFA, the Stars and Stripes are confident ahead of the knockout clash, while Belgium are also gathering momentum after a slow start to their campaign.

The match also recalls the teams’ 2014 World Cup Round of 16 meeting, when Belgium defeated the USA 2-1 after extra time despite Tim Howard’s 16-save performance.
