Scottish club Celtic F.C. is preparing to finalize the signing of Camilo Duran from Qarabag FK in the coming days.

Axar.az reports the Colombian forward's representatives are currently in Scotland, where the two sides are working to finalize the terms of the contract.

Reports claim Celtic are expected to pay around £3 million (6.8 million Azerbaijani manats) for the transfer.

If the move goes through, Duran will become Celtic's second signing of the summer. The club's first acquisition was experienced midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

Earlier reports had already linked Duran with a move to Celtic.

Qarabag signed the 24-year-old striker from Portugal's Portimonense S.C. last summer for less than £200,000. If the reported transfer fee is confirmed, the Azerbaijani champions will earn around 15 times what they paid for the player. Duran attracted interest from European clubs after scoring five goals in 10 UEFA Champions League matches last season.
