Azerbaijani referee receives UEFA appointment

Azerbaijani FIFA referee Farida Lutfaliyeva has been appointed by UEFA to officiate matches in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League.

Axar.az reports according to the AFFA press service, Lutfaliyeva will take charge of the Group 5 semifinal between Estonia's Flora and Malta's Mgarr United.

She has also been named fourth official for the July 25 final, where the winner of the Flora–Mgarr United tie will face Slovakia's Spartak Myjava.

Fellow Azerbaijani referee Gulnara Akbarzade will serve as an assistant referee in the semifinal on July 22.

All matches will be played at Spartak Myjava Stadium in Myjava, Slovakia.
