Brazilian footballer falls down tunnel while celebrating disallowed goal.

Axar.az reports, citing The Sun, that Coritiba defender Jacy suffered a frightening fall while celebrating what he thought was his team’s second goal against Chapecoense.

The 29-year-old jumped over the advertising hoardings but fell down an open chute leading to the away dressing room. The tunnel is normally covered but had been opened by ground staff as half-time approached.

Jacy reappeared moments later and was treated by medics after stumbling to the ground. He was able to continue playing until half-time but was substituted early in the second half after the fall appeared to take its toll.

Adding to the drama, the goal he had been celebrating was ruled out by VAR for offside.

Coritiba eventually won the Brazilian top-flight match 2-1.
