Turkish club Besiktas have announced the signing of Serbian footballer Dusan Vlahovic.

Axar.az reports that according to the club’s press service, the parties have agreed on a three-year contract. The player’s annual salary at the Istanbul club will be €8 million, excluding bonuses.

Vlahovic became a free agent on June 30 after his contract with Italian club Juventus expired. The striker made a total of 168 appearances and scored 68 goals for the Turin side, whom he joined in January 2022.

Last season, he scored seven goals and provided one assist in 19 Serie A appearances.

At Besiktas, Vlahovic will reunite with head coach Vincenzo Italiano, whom he previously worked with at Italian club Fiorentina.

It should be noted that the striker also played for Serbian club Partizan during his career.
