Albanian referee to officiate Qarabag-Twente clash

An Albanian referee will officiate the first leg of the UEFA Conference League playoff between Twente and Qarabag in the Netherlands.

Axar.az reports, citing Repоrt, that Eucine Xhaja will be the referee for the match.

He will be assisted by fellow Albanians Rejdi Avdo and Mario Shazivari. Emanuela Rusta will serve as the fourth official.

Italy’s Gianluca Aureliano will be on VAR, while Albanian Albert Doda will serve as the AVAR official.

It should be noted that the match will kick off on August 20 at 10 p.m. Baku time. The return leg will be played on August 27.
