Scotland beat Azerbaijan 5-2 in U-21 qualifier

Azerbaijan’s U-21 national football team have played their latest match in the European Championship qualifying campaign.

Axar.az reports that Rashad Eyubov’s side lost 2-5 to Scotland’s U-21 team away from home.

The match was played in Kilmarnock, with Nariman Akhundzade (21) and Raul Mammadov (70) scoring for Azerbaijan.

Following nine matches, Azerbaijan have seven points and sit fifth in the group, while Scotland are third with 14 points.
