A detention order has been issued for Super Lig referee Yasin Kol, who was recently detained as part of the “Referees Case” investigation led by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that Kol has been charged with “match-fixing and promoting” related offenses.
Kol denied the allegations against him during questioning.
It should be noted that Ferhat Gundogdu, chairman of the Central Refereeing Board (MHK) of the Turkish Football Federation, was also previously arrested.
