Novak Djokovic set a record in the Grand Slam

Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Norwegian Kasper Ruud in the final of Roland - Garros, one of the four Grand Slam tournaments held in Paris.

Axar.az reports that the result of the match was 7:6 (7:1), 6:3, 7:5. In the ATP rankings, Djokovic is third and Rudd is fourth.

This is Djokovic's third Grand Slam win at Roland Garros and 23rd career Grand Slam. The 36-year-old Serbian surpassed Rafael Nadal of Spain, who has 22 wins and set a new record in the history of the Grand Slam.

Kasper Ruud loses in the final of "Roland Garros" for the second time in a row.
