FIFA President Gianni Infantino's salary has been revealed.
Axar.az reports that "Sky Sports" journalist Rob Harris shared about this on his social network account.
According to him, the salary of the Swiss functionary was increased after he was re-elected as the head in 2023. His salary (2022) has been increased by 33% to £2.3m (€2.69m) from £1.7m (€1.99m) in the previous term.
Infantino also received a £1.65m (€1.93m) bonus for the Women's World Cup. The general manager's total income in football last year was 4.21 million euros.
It should be noted that the salary of the FIFA president is determined by a three-member committee.
Until the end of his term (2027), the Swiss will be guaranteed a base salary of 2.69 million euros. Bonuses will depend on ongoing tournaments under the auspices of FIFA.
