I had many great conversations with Mahir because I also have many teammates who do not eat or drink during Ramadan.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Miroslav Klose, the head coach of "Nürnberg," while talking about his player, Mahir Emreli, who is also a member of the Azerbaijan national team.

"As a coach, I must be very careful about such matters. But yes, he works hard, and I don’t hide it. Mahir is very serious about observing fasting. He only doesn't fast on match days, but then he makes up for it by fasting on other days," the head coach said.

It is worth mentioning that Mahir Emreli, who joined "Nürnberg" last summer, has played in 16 matches during this period, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist. Recently, he has been struggling to secure a place in the team's starting lineup.
