Man City eyes Diogo Costa as Ederson backup

Manchester City could sign Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa in the summer transfer window.

Axar.az reports citing the "Mirror", that the "city" sees the 25-year-old goalkeeper as a potential replacement for Ederson.

According to the clause in the Portuguese player's contract, he can be released for 73.7 million euros. Manchester City believes this amount is too high. They hope to buy the player for 50 million pounds sterling (approximately 58.5 million euros).

It should be noted that Diogo Costa has appeared in 41 games for Porto this season.
