Cole Palmer: Trump said his son is a big fan

Chelsea player Cole Palmer has spoken about their victory at the Club World Cup.

Axar.az reports that the 23-year-old midfielder recalled what U.S. President Donald Trump told him during the award ceremony:

“When he handed me the trophy, he said his son is a big fan of mine. I don’t remember the exact words I used in response. I think I said ‘thank you’ or something like that,” Palmer said.

It should be noted that Palmer was named the best player of the Club World Cup.
