President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the monument of the Great Leader in Heydar Aliyev Park in Ankara on February 19.
Axar.az reports that the head of state paid tribute to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev by placing a bouquet in front of the monument erected in the park.
It should be noted that the Heydar Aliyev Park with an area of approximately 10,000 square meters was built in 2004. In 2012, major reconstruction works were carried out in the park. As a result, this park has become one of the most beautiful recreation areas of the Turkish capital. At the entrance of the park, there are the Khan sycamore trees planted by President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on April 4, 2004, and marble plaques with information about this. The facilities of this recreation area - ceremony square, sports field, and children's entertainment area create opportunities for city residents of all age groups to relax according to their tastes.
There is an amphitheatre for 1200 people in Heydar Aliyev Park, where various artistic and mass events and concerts are organized.
The "Buta" Azerbaijan Propaganda House, built on the territory of the park, contributes to the promotion of our national culture in the brotherly country.
