Footage has been released showing former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar relocating through an underground tunnel in the Gaza Strip on October 6, 2023—one day before the attack on Israel.

Axar.az, reports that the footage was shared by Israeli army spokesperson Daniel Hagari.

Hagari stated that Sinwar, along with his family, moved to another location the day before the attack.

It should be noted that Yahya Sinwar was killed on October 16 during an unplanned Israeli military operation. Israeli soldiers accidentally encountered Hamas members in Rafah, which led to a shootout. The site of the gunfire was subsequently hit by a tank shell. A drone then detected Sinwar injured in the rubble, and an Israeli sniper fatally shot him in the head.

Israel confirmed Sinwar’s death on October 17.
