Vladimir Putin received a call from Kyiv.
Axar.az reports that Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said this in an interview with the “60 Minutes” program.
He noted that there are currently no politicians in Ukraine who can negotiate; despite this, government representatives have held talks with Putin.
“We need to talk to those who want to. But we do not see such a passionate desire to talk to us, to Russia, and so on. They (Ukrainian politicians - ed.) called Putin, talked, he had conversations with some people,” Lukashenko said.
However, the Belarusian president did not disclose the names of the callers, saying that he did not have such authority and that these conversations were not open to the public.
“But he (Putin - ed.) spoke to me. So, you want to, you are talking. For now, secretly, without journalists knowing. Maybe Vladimir Vladimirovich himself will take the risk and say who called for negotiations,” he added.
