Nigerian airstrikes kill 35 militants near Cameroon border

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has killed 35 armed men in airstrikes carried out along the border with Cameroon.

Axar.az reports, according to Reuters, that intelligence indicated that the group was planning an attack on Nigeria’s ground forces. Subsequently, airstrikes were launched on four locations.

Ground forces later confirmed that the area had been cleared.
