Ukrainian drones disrupt fuel supply in 57 Russian regions

As a result of strikes by Ukrainian drones on Russian oil refineries, at least 57 regions in the country have experienced fuel supply problems.

Axar.az reports that BBC has provided this information.

According to BBC calculations, since August, most regions of Russia, especially fuel stations, have faced gasoline shortages. Since the beginning of 2025, Ukrainian drones have attacked 21 of Russia’s 38 largest oil refineries. This is 48% higher than the total figure for 2024.

The Moscow Times also reported that the attacks have affected one out of every three oil refineries in Russia. In August alone, 14 attacks were recorded, in September 8, and in the first ten days of October, 4 more attacks took place.
