Azarov: Europe ready to take risks, underestimates Russia

European leaders do not believe that Russia would use nuclear weapons, and therefore are ready to take reckless steps.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Ukraine’s former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov in an interview with TASS.

“Based on their capabilities, they plan to secure a significant conditional advantage over Russia and initiate a conflict. They do not hide this and even set a deadline, at the latest by 2027 or 2030.

“They (European politicians) do not consider this step reckless. They believe that Russia would never dare to use nuclear weapons,” Azarov said.
