Police and crowd clash before Imamoglu trial begins -

The second hearing in the “fake diploma” case against former Istanbul Metropolitan Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu is taking place today.

Axar.az reports, citing Haber7, before the session began, tensions flared between police and people trying to enter the courtroom as spectators. Some individuals broke through barriers and attempted to storm the courtroom, leading to a physical altercation between the crowd and police.

Following the scuffle, access to the courtroom was temporarily closed. The hearing is expected to begin once the situation returns to normal.
