Magnitude 5.7 earthquake strikes Russia’s Sakha Republic

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 has occurred in the Sakha Republic (Russia).

Axar.az reports that the information was published on the website of the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The tremor was recorded at 04:31 local time. The epicenter was located about 165 km southwest of the village of Belaya Gora and 881 km northeast of the city of Yakutsk. The quake’s depth was approximately 12 kilometers.

At present, there are no reports of damage or casualties.
