Arab states reject US Gaza reconstruction plan

Arab countries do not accept the US proposal to carry out reconstruction only in areas under Israeli control.

Axar.az reports that Arab diplomats told The Financial Times about this.

The diplomats stated that the US plans to refuse funding for Gaza’s reconstruction project and instead direct humanitarian aid to areas under Israeli control.

It should be noted that US official Jared Kushner had announced that funds allocated for Gaza’s reconstruction would not be directed to areas under Hamas control.
