Plane evacuated after fire in Brasil -

On Thursday, a fire broke out on board a passenger plane at Guarulhos International Airport, Brazil.

Axar.az informs the incident occurred on Latam Airlines flight LA3418, which was destined for Porto Alegre. The smoke started in equipment responsible for loading the plane’s cargo, which triggered safety protocols.

All 180 passengers were removed from the aircraft via the boarding bridge (finger) and the escape slide, all with the help of employees trained for this type of situation.

In a statement, Latam reported that there were no injuries and that the situation was quickly controlled.
